Adobo All-Purpose Seasoning from Scratch

Having this seasoning in a Puerto Rican kitchen is a must, but it's often tricky to find in my area. That's why I took matters into my own hands and started making it from scratch – and let me tell you, it's fantastic! It adds a burst of flavor to anything you sprinkle it on; my kids especially love it on fries. So go ahead, give it a try and spice up your dishes with a taste of Puerto Rico!

Note

If you have a coffee grinder, grind the garlic powder, salt, oregano, and turmeric together. Then stir in the black pepper and store in an airtight container.

If you want to lower the sodium intake cut the salt down to your liking.
